Ram Charan Visits Siddhivinayak: Actor Ram Charan visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on October 4 and was seen walking barefoot. He arrived at Mumbai airport on October 3. The actor is observing a 41-day fast as a part of his annual Ayyappa Deeksha ritual, post which he will visit the Sabarimala Temple. He was dressed simply in a black shirt and pants along with a shawl. Ram Charan and his father, megastar Chiranjeevi, are devotees of Lord Ayyappa. As per the tradition, devotees, who follow Ayyappa Deeksha before their winter visit to the Sabarimala Temple, wear only black clothes and walk barefoot. They're not permitted to shave their beards or cut their hair during this period. The person observing this ritual has to sleep on the floor and indulge in no worldly pleasures.

The third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting began on May 22 in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar. During a conversation at the Sher-I-Kashmir Conventional International Centre (SKICC), Actor Ram Charan said that he has been visiting Kashmir since 1986 and it has something magical which draws everyone’s attention to it. He said, “Kashmir is that kind of a place, I have been coming here since 1986, my father shot extensively here in Gulmarg and Sonamarg. I shot in this auditorium in 2016. This place has something magical, it is such a surreal feeling coming to Kashmir, it draws the attention of everyone.”
