08 September,2024 12:45 PM ISTOn September 7, a building collapsed in Transport Nagar, Lucknow, causing several people to be trapped inside. Emergency teams, including the police, NDRF, SDRF, and the fire brigade, quickly arrived at the scene to begin rescue operations. So far, 13 people have been rescued, with four sent to the hospital. Unfortunately, one person has been reported dead. The exact number of people still trapped is not yet clear, but rescue efforts continue. Municipal Commissioner Indrajit Singh and District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar have both confirmed the ongoing efforts and the presence of one more person feared to be trapped. The cause of the Lucknow building collapse is still under investigation.

This train will also prove beneficial for pilgrims," reported ANI.
