In a tragic incident in Malad East, two workers lost their lives and two others got injured after a portion of a building slab collapsed on 5th September, Thursday. The Malad building collapse happened around 12:10 pm. The construction was underway at the Navjeewan building in the Govind Nagar area. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, and the injured workers were rushed to M W Desai Hospital. Sadly, doctors confirmed the deaths of two of the injured workers. The condition of the other two workers is still being monitored. The incident was reported to the BMC's 1916 toll-free number. In Navi Mumbai's Kharghar area, a jewellery shop was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday night i.e. on July 28th. The incident took place around 10 p.m. when three masked men, dressed in black and armed with revolvers, burst into the store. They threatened and assaulted the staff, firing 4 to 5 shots within just three minutes. Despite the violent nature of the robbery, no one was injured. The entire crime was captured on the shop's CCTV cameras. The robbers managed to steal jewellery valued at over Rs 11 lakh before fleeing the scene. The Kharghar police have since launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects. Authorities are reviewing the CCTV footage and gathering information to track down the culprits involved in this daring robbery.

The #NDRF team is doing rescue operations. A 10-year-old building is under investigation, we will gather all the details and accordingly, action will be taken against the concern and responsible people.” According to the sources, more than 50 people has been rescued till now.
