BJP candidate from Hyderabad Madhavi was deaftead by Asaduddin Owaisi, the four-time MP and president of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Speaking to ANI, Madhavi spoke on the tremendous victory of BJP.and losing against Owaisi. Latha reflected on the party's approach to political battles, drawing parallels to the Mahabharata epic. She asserted BJP's commitment to a direct confrontation, likening it to the straightforward tactics of the Pandavas. She said, "BJP as a party only know how to fight straight forward war. The Pandavas of Mahabharata only knew how to do a Yuddha straight forward but Kaurava knew how to do the same work the other way, they knew how to hit from back. Pandavas did win the Kurukshetra war field but they have lost their kin. They have lost Panch Pandavas who are their own children. They have lost Abhimanyu, a big warrior. So even history tells us that between the war of truth and injustice, the truth has to shell down and sacrifice some amount of their kin. We have to sacrifice our beloved voters because of the wrong allegations, wrong misinterpretations, and wrong communication that has been passed onto those simple, poor, insecure people of this country. But I am sure still the truth wins, justice wins and it prevails. That's the reason BJP has come back to power..."

Gudi Padwa 2024: Women in traditional attires take part in Shobha Yatra

The vibrant and joyous festival of Gudi Padwa was celebrated by Hoisting the traditional Gudi and prayer to it on the New year for the Hindus on Gudi Padwa in Mumbai on 9th of April. People were seen participating in the Shobha Rally. Women were seen dressed in traditional attire and  participated in the Rally to mark the Marathi New Year Gudi Padwa. They danced their hearts out on the beats of dhol and nagadas. The festival was celebrated with full vigor and enthusiasm. Gudi Padwa ocassion signals yeh onset of the warmer days and the spring season. This year Gudi Padwa has coincided with the first day of the Chaitra Navratri and festivals like Sajibu Cheiraoba, Navreh, Cheti Chand and Ugadi that are celebrated in different parts of the country.
