Exciting equestrian action met glamour on Sunday afternoon as Bollywood stars descended on the Mahalaxmi racecourse for the mid-day Trophy. With the sun and winter chill deciding to sleep in, the pretty faces notched up hemlines and put on flashy hats and fascinators.

The men sported snazzy suits with colourful ties and pocket squares adding to the dapper quotient. Racing enthusiasts, on the other hand, were seen poring over race cards and cheering their lungs out for their chosen horses.

Sonam Kapoor and Randeep Hooda, amongst a host of other stars, were the main attraction of the event and handed the trophy to Speed King, owned by Chennai-based M Sudhakar Reddy and trained by ace jockey-turned-trainer Malesh Narredu.
