ABC Veterans stormed into the quarter-finals of the Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana rink football tournament with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Vakola Veterans. Sunny D'Souza got the all-important goal off a powerful shot.
Meanwhile, in the WCG inter-parish tourney, John Bosco (Borivali) beat Our Lady of Salvation ‘B’ 3-2. Rohit Valooran, Maulik Vora and Jinto Ukken scored for Bosco’s, while Linekar Machado netted both the goals for Salvation.
