The march is part of the nation-wide protest by lawyers.

The amendments to sections 41 and 309 give wide powers to the police to arrest a person without a warrant. The lawyers argue the amendment will bypass judiciary and the police may misuse it.

Both the amendments were passed in the parliament and are waiting for presidential approval.

The lawyers will give a memorandum to the governor in this regard.
