The Bollywood film marked Kangana's debut and the music of the film is remembered to date. On Thursday, Kangana took to her Instagram stories and remembered the legendary singer who lost his life during a scuba diving incident in Singapore. Kangana pays tribute to Zubeen Garg She first shared a picture of Zubeen Garg from his younger days and captioned it: “#Zubeenda.” She then shared a poster of the 2006 thriller Gangster, which marked her Bollywood debut, and added the song Ya Ali, sung by the late Assamese icon Zubeen Garg, as a tribute to him. “#zubeenda No one like you!,” she wrote as the caption. It was on September 19, when singer Zubeen Garg passed away following a scuba diving accident in Singapore. He was rescued from the sea by the Singapore police and rushed to a nearby hospital where he was admitted to the ICU. Despite intensive care, doctors could not save him. Everything that happened at Zubeen Garg's funeral His sister Palme Borthakur and music composer Rahul Gautam, a protégé of the singer, lit the pyre, amid gun salutes. They went around the pyre seven times as priests guided them, and all present at the site stood up. Zubeen's wife, Garima Saikia Garg, was sitting on the side of the platform where his last rites were performed and was seen sobbing all through the rituals. She even brought their dogs to the funeral for Zubeen's one last glimpse. Vedic hymns were chanted by priests at the cremation site since early morning. A team of Assam police personnel were the pallbearers of the casket, carrying Zubeen's body. A gun salute was given to Zubeen by the Assam Police personnel before his body was taken to the platform, where his last rites would be performed. As the smoke from the flames flared up, slogans like 'Zubeen, Zubeen' reverberated in the air, and people were seen singing his song 'Mayabini Ratir buku'. After the tributes were paid to the popular singer, the Assam Police gave him the gun salute and sounded the bugle. A large number of people gathered around the cremation site, including those on the hills surrounding the place, and slogans like 'Long Live Zubeen', 'Jai Zubeen da' reverberated in the area. People were seen singing a song 'Mayabini Ratir buku', which Garg had said many times that this should be sung at his funeral. The mortal remains of Garg were taken to a platform and placed on the pyre amid chanting of Vedic hymns and blowing of conch shells. The funeral pyre has been constructed on the platform, covered in a white canopy and decorated with flowers all around it.

Rajiv has been gaining the audience's love for his portrayal of the chief, one of the five terrorists involved in the longest hijacking in the history of India. In an exclusive chat with Midday.com, Rajiv was asked if he remembers reading about the news of the real hijacking or if he has any memory of it. To our surprise, Rajiv shared information that will shock you. The actor revealed that he had seen the hijacking with his own eyes. Rajiv Thakur hails from Amritsar and was in college when the real hijackers took the IC 814 flight to the city. Rajiv recalled being asked to rush home and remembered seeing commandos taking over the situation. In conversation with us, he revealed, "I have seen it myself; I am from Amritsar, and we were in college. We were rehearsing for the youth festival, and back then, there were no mobile phones. I studied at Khalsa College, which was very close to the airport." He continued, "Suddenly, we noticed that a plane was flying unusually low. I mean, the flight was flying much lower than necessary, and we were thinking that the plane looked very big. While pondering over this, we went outside for tea, and by the time we returned, everyone was shouting, 'Run, run, anything can happen here!' In the meantime, we saw commandos arriving, and someone informed us that the flight had been hijacked. That memory is still etched in my mind." Recalling how he rushed home to share the information with his parents, Rajiv stated, "Within about 30 minutes, I reached home and told everyone that the flight had been hijacked. The family said it had been taken to Pakistan." Rajiv Thakur says his childhood was spent amid terrorism: Being from Amritsar, Rajiv not only witnessed the real hijacking of IC 814 but was also at home when the 1984 riots were happening. Reflecting on how his childhood was spent amid terrorism, he stated, "I am from Amritsar, so my entire childhood was spent amid terrorism. The events of '84 happened right in front of our eyes." While sharing one terrifying memory from the riots, Rajiv stated, "One of the core memories in my mind is when I was on the roof. It was the day of Maha Shivratri, and there was an explosion about 4-5 kilometers away from my house, and the sound was so loud. Later, we found out that a blast had occurred in a Shiva temple. That time was terrifying." About actor and comedian Rajiv Thakur: Rajiv first made everyone laugh in 2008 when he appeared as a contestant on 'Comedy Circus'.
