Hosted by independent editor and director Shubhika Sharma, and producer Harshita Sabnis, Chhat Chitra Talkies offers a look at cinema from marginalised communities.

The Nirmik Cultural Centre in Kandivali is a space with curated art, programmed with the intent of social justice. The aim is to create a platform for filmmakers to interact with a community with nearby residents from slums, Dalit activists, visual artists and mahila mandals. Started last year by activist Dhammrakshit Randive and his friends, the centre is dedicated to creating a network for knowledge sharing.
