Fun for foodies

During the rainy season, elevate your culinary prowess with a range of professional cooking courses by Culinary Craft. Between July and August, you can learn how to make five different kinds of gourmet burgers, delicious vegetarian biryani, tempura bhajia, and more. You can even learn some recipes from cuisines you may be less familiar with, thanks to a course on August 20 teaching authentic Italian recipes like fresh handmade pasta, vegetarian lasagne and several pasta sauces, including pesto and arabiatta. For those more interested in learning some Asian fusion recipes, a course on August 27 teaches you to make some delicious Indo-Chinese food like Hakka noodles, chilli paneer, along with traditional Chinese meals like siu-mai dumplings and yang chow fried rice. Culinary Craft even offers a course on salads for the health-conscious. But our favourite is the three-day Ghar ka Khana course, teaching the most nostalgic home-cooked Indian meals from scratch. Beginning July 24, it starts with how to prepare staple Indian breads like aloo paratha, garlic naan, Sindhi koki and jowar bhakri. The course then moves on to more intricate biryani and sabzi recipes. These courses are ideal for people looking to consolidate their cooking skills, while learning how to prepare some of the best Indian and international comfort foods.
