Paul di Resta concedes he faces a fight on his hands to help drag Force India towards respectability this season.
Di Resta is one of four rookies on the Formula One grid for 2011.
He admits the team's goal at the start of the year was for a fifth or sixth-placed finish in the constructors' championship. In the wake of pre-season testing the ambition remains the same, but Di Resta admits that is now "going to be difficult."
He said: "We'd like to be a bit further on than we are. It's going to be hard work, certainly at the beginning, but it's the job at hand."
