India's Rohan Bopanna continued his impressive singles play by taking a set off world No. 12 Fernando Gonzalez of Chile before going down fighting 4-6, 6-3, 4-6 in the second round of the Malaysian Open tennis on Thursday.
India's Rohan Bopanna continued his impressive singles play by taking a set off World No 12 Fernando Gonzalez of Chile before going down fighting 4-6, 6-3, 4-6 in the second round of the Malaysian Open tennis on Thursday.
Bopanna, who came through the qualifiers to make the main draw, matched Gonzalez in the aces, firing 12 each, but was broken twice in the match which lasted nearly an hour and a half.
The 447th- ranked Indian, who is making a comeback after a three months lay-off due to a troublesome knee, had shocked World No. 51 Argentine Jose Acasuso in the first round.
