33-year-old Nieminen is ranked 86 in the world having been as high as 13 in 2006. The left-hander has won two titles in his career -- both on hard courts, in Auckland in 2006 and Sydney two years ago. A three-time quarter-finalist at the majors, Nieminen famously knocked Andre Agassi out of the French Open in the first round in 2005.

Alejandro Falla vs Roger Federer (2)

Left-handed Colombian Falla, another lucky loser, is ranked 111 in the world having been as high as 48 just two years ago. Halys is just 18 and playing on a wildcard on his main draw debut at a Grand Slam. The World No 304 tried and failed to qualify for the French Open in 2013 and 2014.
