"This is a great initiative by Mid-Day. This gives a big opportunity for our girls to showcase their talent. There is no strategy in place, I only want them to enjoy to the fullest. Winning and losing is part of the game, but these memories will forever remain with them. We will take it one game at a time as this has served us well in the sense that even if that game did not go to plan, my girls have always bounced back with a fantastic response," Jyoti Alva, coach of Bombay International School, told Mid-Day.

The tournament's second edition witnessed AVM Juhu showcasing remarkable grit and determination and finding their flow against a forceful Dhirubhai Ambani side 3-2 to be crowned the champions. In the maiden season of the tournament, it was Mary Immaculate Girls MIG who surpassed all expectations and raised the bar for themselves by clinching the elusive title. Thanks to the strategic understanding of sharpshooter Angeline Antony, who finished with 12 goals alone, put the game beyond Apostolic Carmel Bandra to register a comfortable 3-0 win in the summit clash.
