Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford amicably splits from girlfriend Lucia

According to British tabloid, The Sun, the pair, both 23, have parted ways amicably. Reportedly, Loi, a PR executive, has moved out of the Manchester United player’s home.

England football star Marcus Rashford has split from his childhood sweetheart Lucia Loi owing to the strain cause due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The couple were together for eight years.
According to British tabloid, The Sun, the pair, both 23, have parted ways amicably. Reportedly, Loi, a PR executive, has moved out of the Manchester United player’s home.
“After eight years together, Marcus and Lucia have made the mutual decision to part ways. It is a result of the pressures and strains of the Covid-19 pandemic,” a source close to the footballer told the tabloid.
Meanwhile, the source revealed that the two are still in touch as there is hope of a reconciliation. “There is a strong mutual love and respect for one another, having met at school, and there is a continued dialogue with the hope of a reconciliation in the future,” the source added.
