Narain hopes sponsors will turn up for A1 GP

Recession has gripped everyone and the worst affected sport is motorsport. While teams are finding different ways to cut down costs, Team India's A1 GP driver Narain Karthikeyan was hoping the economic downturn will not affect A1 adversely.
"These are bad times and the automotive sector is the worst affected," Karthikeyan said on the sidelines of Champions Drink Responsibly an initiative by a top alcohol manufacturing company. "All the teams are struggling to find a sponsor. But I am hoping that sponsors will turn up for A1 GP because it is cheaper."
