Having won the toss, Punjab Kings batsman Sam Curran opted to bowl first in the IPL 2024 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Pacer Vidhwath Kaverappa claimed two crucial wickets for RCB skipper Faf du Plessis and Will Jacks. Kaverappa conceded 36 runs in his four overs spell.  Captain Curran was the other wicket-taker in the match. He managed to dismiss dangerous Patidar.
