India won the toss and elected to bat in the first Test against Sri Lanka at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmadabad on Monday
India won the toss and elected to bat in the first Test against Sri Lanka at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday.
While pacers Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma made it to the team, S Sreesanth has been left out. India is also playing two spinners u2013 Harbhajan Singh and Amit Mishra.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has decided to leave out Ajantha Mendis.
