Cricket is played between bat and ball and not between big reputations. Whoever it is ufffd fastest bowlers or shrewdest spinners ufffd they have to bowl and one has to face them.

On hopeless situations bringing out the best in him:
We have a very formidable batting line-up and if proven performers have a rare off-day, it is my duty to take responsibility and win the match.

On his Cup preparation:
I am visualising match situations and just working out a few things in the nets which I have discussed with our team's support staff.

On how he manages to hit those lusty blows with shoulders that are not boxer-like:
Even I am wondering how I can play those shots. Jo dikhta hai woh hota nahi, aur jo hota hai, woh dikhta nahi!
