Mumbai Indians lead popularity charts

According to an online survey, Mumbai Indians have the largest following on the Net, with Chennai Super Kings in second place.
Mumbai Indians received the maximum hits, while Kolkata Knight Riders were the least "popular" among the top four IPL teams, a survey by internet search engine giant Google claimed today.
In a survey among the four teams for the last seven days, 'Google Insights for search' registered maximum number of 'hits' by Mumbai Indians followed by the two-time defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
Mumbai leads the popularity charts.
Delhi Daredevils were the third in the list followed by Kolkata Knight Riders at the bottom.

"Netizens just cannot get enough of Mumbai Indians who are driving the majority of internet searches on Google with 59 hits. Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Super Kings were ahead of Delhi with 46-36. KKR were the last in terms of online popularity with 28 hits," Google India said in a statement.u00a0
Interestingly, Mumbai Indians is also the most popular IPL team on Facebook.
