The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) got yet another breather yesterday after the Income Tax tribunal adjourned its verdict to July 19, acting on association's appeal against the withdrawal of income tax exemption.
“The Income Tax tribunal wants more information and have adjourned the case till July 19,” said Nitin Dalal, MCA joint secretary. MCA may have to cough up Rs 51.20 crore if the outcome of the appeal is not in their favour.
