Former India captain Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi was admitted to a hospital in New Delhi late on Thursday night, it is learnt.

However, the details of Pataudi's condition or illness are not known. Neither his wife, former Bollywood star, Sharmila Tagore, nor other family members were unavailable for comment when contacted.
Pataudi, 70, was in England recently to confer the 'Pataudi Trophy' to England at The Oval for winning the four-match Test series against India.
