Injury scare for Gambhir

Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir gave his team and its fans an injury scare on Wednesday after being hit on the ankle during practice.
Kolkata Knight Riders received an injury scare today when their skipper Gautam Gambhir was hit on his ankle during the practice session on the eve of their IPL opener against Delhi Daredevils tomorrow.
There was no update from the team officials, even as Gambhir was seen back on the field after some medication. While at the ground, Gambhir was hit on his right ankle by a Brendon McCullum drive. The left-hander was taken out of the field with ice packs. However, the injury didn't seem serious.
