New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori and middle-order batsman Jesse Ryder are unlikely to play in the must win fifth one-day international against Pakistan, as they are struggling with a hamstring strain and a finger injury respectively.
Vettori, however, is hopeful that Ryder will play at Seddon Park.
Commenting on New Zealand's two wicket loss to Pakistan at Napier yesterday, Vettori said that the top order's performance was 'unacceptable'.
Stuff.co.nz quoted him, as saying: "I was pleased with the way (James) Franklin and the two McCullums (Brendon and Nathan) scrapped to give us a score, they all played exceptionally well to give us credibility, but five for 80 is just not good enough."
