“There are a lot of batsmen, but at the moment, I think, Kohli is the most dangerous of them all. There is AB de Villiers, David Warner, but the way Virat is playing, the way he is scoring runs — he scored two hundreds in this IPL, he is the most dangerous at the moment,” the Kings XI Punjab mentor said during the prize distribution function of a radio channel yesterday.

However, the 37-year-old, who scored 8586 runs in 104 Tests with an average of 49.34, believes people shouldn’t compare Kohli with Sachin Tendulkar or any other cricketer.

“No one should compare two cricketers. People used to compare me with Tendulkar, me with Viv Richards, that’s not fair. The era is not the same. I don’t think we should compare Kohli with Tendulkar,” Sehwag opined.
Sehwag also spoke on the possibility of India hosting a day-night Test.
“There is no clarity about day-night Test yet.
It’s better to comment after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially announces it. Most people want to see
day-night Tests. We have seen Australia-New Zealand play one. We too want to witness it,” he said.
