Gambhir had earlier led the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for seven years in the IPL. He also led the franchise to two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014. The 36-year-old was released by KKR and he was bought by Delhi Daredevils for Rs 2.8 crore at the IPL player auction for the 11th edition of the league. "I will try and play with absolute honesty and integrity and with a lot of passion and energy as well," the Southpaw batsman said. The IPL 2018 will begin from April 7.
