Pravin Tambe (RR) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (Ahmedabad, May 2014)

Despite Shane Watson picking up three wickets in the previous over, KKR were still in a good position to chase down the target. Rajasthan Royals' leg-spinner Pravin Tambe though had other ideas. He took a hat-trick to have KKR lose six wickets in a space of eight balls. Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Ryan ten Doeschate were his victims. RR won by 10 runs. Tambe is still impressing IPL fans for rr despite being 42.

Harbhajan Singh (MI) vs Chennai Super Kings (Mumbai, April 2011)

When you have two set batsmen at the crease and need 30 off 18 balls, you often fancy the batting side. But Harbhajan Singh (left) produced one of the most brilliant displays of death-over bowling by a spinner. Against csk, Bhajji bowled the 18th over and plucked three wickets (Albie Morkel, R Ashwin, Joginder Sharma) and conceded two runs.

Sohail Tanvir (RR) vs Chennai Super Kings (Jaipur, May 2008)

Sohail Tanvir (above) was instrumental in Rajasthan Royals winning the inaugural IPL in 2008. In one of the best starts ever, he had Chennai Super Kings on the mat in Jaipur, picking up the openers (Parthiv Patel and Stephen Fleming) in the first over itself. He sent back Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan in his next over, to have them at 11 for 3. CSK never recovered and were shot out for 109 and Tanvir finished with 6 for 14, an IPL record that still stands.

Amit Mishra (DD) vs Deccan Chargers (Delhi, May 2008)

Amit Mishra (left) has an uncanny knack of producing incredible overs. Playing for the Delhi Daredevils against Deccan Chargers, Mishra was thrown the ball to defend 15 off the last over and he did it. He conceded only two runs deceiving the batsmen in his guile and picked up a hat-trick (Ravi Teja, Pragyan Ojha, RP Singh) as well.
