The staff then called in the cops, but even the arrival of law enforcement authorities didn’t deter Avinash and his friend who continued threatening everyone and even dropping names.

When the name-dropping failed to impress the cops, an inebriated and enraged Avinash allegedly punched a constable.

The two had to spend the night in Bandra police station and were released on bail on Tuesday. Avinash has been charged with assaulting a govt officer, criminal intimidation and abuse.
