India Women vs Bangladesh Women 1st T20I: The Indian women’s cricket team is back on the international circuit with a tour of Bangladesh. India got off to a fine start with Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma laying a strong foundation for the side with an opening stand of 32 off just 21 balls. However, Mandhana’s dismissal led to a flurry of wickets within the first seven overs. Since then, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh steadied the innings, making the run-chase appear easy as ever. Deepti Sharma emerged as the star performer as India registered another lopsided victory in the T20 World Cup after beating arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening game.
