Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Phase 7: Key Candidates & Constituencies
The final phase and the phase 7 of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is here. In the upcoming Phase 7 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, a total of 57 parliamentary constituencies across 8 states and Union Territories will vote on June 1. A total of 904 candidates are in the fray in the seventh phase. A total of 13 seats each in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, nine seats in West Bengal, eight seats in Bihar, six seats in Odisha, four seats in Himachal Pradesh, three seats in Jharkhand, and one seat in the Union Territory of Chandigarh will go to polls in the last phase. The voting for the phase 7 LS Polls 2024 will begin at 7 am and will end at 5 pm. Lok Sabha Election Phase 6: Conspiracy inside West Bengal polling booth?
Amid the ongoing Lok Sabha Election Phase 6, in a dramatic turn of events at a polling booth in West Bengal, BJP candidate from Medinipur Lok Sabha seat, Agnimitra Paul alleged that BJP polling agents are not being allowed inside polling booths in Keshiary as voting is underway in the parliamentary constituency. “Are you not seeing that our party polling agent has been sent out of here? Why are you letting West Bengal Police come inside the polling booth?..." she tells the Central forces personnel present there. She further said, "Our polling agents are not being allowed to sit inside the polling booth. Last night, the police picked up many of our party workers and polling agents. At Keshiary, our polling agent was taken away. West Bengal was conducting voting in favour of TMC here."
