On Monday, after a meeting with his MLAs, Thackeray said: “Everything has been stolen from me. The name and symbol of our party have been stolen but the name ‘Thackeray’ cannot be stolen. We have moved the Supreme Court against the decision given by the Election Commission. Thackeray said if the current scenario in Maharashtra was not stopped, the 2024 Lok Sabha elections could turn out to be the last in the country. After that, there will be anarchy, he added. 

A robbery attempt was foiled on Monday after a Thane-based jewellery shop owner visited the shop at odd hours for some work and caught one of the accused red-handed. The incident took place at Chendani-Koliwada in the Kopri area. A gang of robbers had rented an adjacent to the jewellery shop on the pretext of setting up a farsan outlet but in six months the burglars drilled a hole in the shop`s wall. On Monday around 1.30 pm, Dilip Kataria, owner of Bhawani Jewellers, visited the shop to collect something. When he opened the shop shutter, he was shocked to find a man inside the shop. He started shouting, nabbed the man and called the Thane Police Control room. Kopri cops rushed to the spot.
