Manorama Khedkar, the mother of IAS trainee Puja Khedkar, has been detained in Mahad, Maharashtra, on July 18, according to Pankaj Deshmukh, SP of Pune Rural Police. This action follows a June 13 show cause notice from Pune Police regarding alleged misuse of a licensed firearm. Deshmukh stated, "She was found at a hotel in Mahad. We have detained her and will proceed with legal actions after questioning." Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on May 06 arrived in Chhindwara, the native place of slain IAF soldier Corporal Vikky Pahade, to attend his last rites. Vikky Pahade lost his life in the Poonch Sector after an IAF vehicle convoy was attacked by terrorists on May 04.While speaking to ANI, Mohan Yadav said, “Guard of Honour and State honours will be given to Corporal Vikky Pahade but no one can fill the personal loss.
