PM Narendra Modi was captured trying snorkelling in Lakshwadeep. PM Modi in Lakshadweep laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various projects in Kavratti, Lakshadweep. While addressing the crowd, PM Modi said that the priority of the Central Government is to make life easier for every region and every citizen of India. He also said that in the last 10 years, his government has made the border areas and the areas at the end of the sea its priority.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on December 30 condoled the demise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben. She urged PM Modi to take some rest. She said, “today it’s a sad day and a great loss to you. I pray to God, may God give you strength. I convey my gratitude to you that you were supposed to come to West Bengal but due to the demise of your mother, you couldn`t come but joined virtually. Soon after performing the last rites of his mother in Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train in West Bengal. Modi was scheduled to visit West Bengal on December 30 to inaugurate a host of development projects but due to the sudden demise of his mother, he attended the events virtually.
