Lonavala To Pune Waterfall Mishaps, Deadly Monsoon Mishaps Caught On Cam

It seems as if the Monsoon mishaps are on the rise and isn`t going to stop soon! Here we are talking about a few tragic incidents that unfolded in Maharashtra recently. Just days after the fatal Lonavala waterfall tragedy wherein 5 people of a family got swept away in the swollen waterfall and died,  another news of two boys drowning in Kolhapur`s Kalammawadi dam has come into light. Immediately after the incident, disaster Response Force and NDRF conducted search operations. The officials on 2nd of July said that the body of one of two youth has been retrieved. The deceased was identified as Paratik Patil. The 2 youths were a part of a group of friends from Nipani town in Karnataka who were visiting Radhanagari Tehsil in Kohlapur district, Maharashtra for monsoon tourism at the dam. On the same day another terrifying incident happened in Pune. In Pune`s Tamhini Ghat, tragedy struck as a man, identified as a trek leader, was swept away by powerful waters. He had been enjoying a day out with around 20 companions, including friends and family, at the renowned picnic spot. Confident in his swimming ability, he dove into the waterfall but misjudged the currents, leading to his fatal accident. Heartbreakingly, his 10-year-old daughter captured the event on video, turning what seemed like a daring adventure into a heartbreaking loss.
