Cyclone Biparjoy has caused massive destruction to the farmers in Gujarat. The torrential rain and gusty winds have led to the felling of mangoes and mango trees. In Gujarat’s Gadhasisa, the farmers in the village witnessed severe losses in mango and kharek cultivation as the strong winds from Cyclone Biparjoy up-rooted several mango and kharek trees. On June 15th, the cyclonic storm made landfall in Gujarat’s coastal areas causing large-scale devastations. 

Farmers in Gulbarga are facing losses in their horticulture crop banana because middle-men have been taking all the profit thereby affecting both the farmers and the public at large.
