Following the Kathua terror attack on the Indian Army’s convoy, residents have called for the establishment of Village Defence Guards (VDGs) to combat terrorism and support the Indian Army and Police. The residents also criticised Pakistan for its alleged involvement in terrorist activities, urging stronger measures to counter such threats.Five soldiers were killed after terrorists attacked an army convoy in Kathua on July 08.

While Pakistan is pumping in billions on infrastructure projects in various parts of the country, the parts of Kashmir under its illegal occupation remains left out. This has forced the people here to come out against the governments.
