Mumbai train bombings 2006: A casual evening that turned into a tragedy!
11th July 2003, a date that remains etched in the hearts of every Mumbaikar. On this day, an ordinary evening turned out to be a fateful one for local train commuters of Mumbai as a series of devastating bombings rocked the financial capital city. On 11th July, 2006, the biggest tragedy of Mumbai i.e. Mumbai train bombing took place. It was 6:24 PM, when a sudden blast rocked a local train between Khar and Santa Cruz stations, piercing the evening calm with tragedy. Within minutes, six more explosions tore through train compartments at Matunga, Mahim, Bandra, Jogeshwari, Borivali, and Mira Road. The sequence of terror unfolded swiftly, targeting innocent commuters who were simply traveling home after a day`s work. Hyderabad Blasts No breakthrough in investigations yet
Four days after the deadly Hyderabad bomb blasts, Andhra Pradesh Police, under immense pressure to nail the culprits, is yet to make any significant breakthrough in its investigations.
