Taha Shah at the Launch of a National Movement against Cyber Crime
A National Movement against Cyber Crime and the launch of a helpline number were held at Pillai College. Heermandi actor Taha Shah Badussha graced the event, offering guidance to the young generation on choosing the right path and not going astray in love. He urged them to protect themselves and refrain from judging others who may be affected by cyber crimes. Taha shared that he, too, has experienced difficult times and understands that young people often make wrong decisions. He revealed that some of his friends have been victims of sextortion. He advised everyone to remember that they have a life ahead of them and that their actions have consequences, encouraging them to make wise decisions.
Nepal Earthquake: India releases helpline numbers, Nepal PM Dahal visits site
Nepal earthquake has ravaged Nepal with immense loss of lives and property sending shockwaves around the world. In the wake of the catastrophe, Nepalese PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal arrived at the affected areas and took stock of the situation. After assessing the situation, PM Dahal immediately called for a cabinet meeting of the Disaster Management Committee tomorrow. Nepal was jolted by a massive 6.6-magnitude earthquake on the late night of November 03 and continued to feel aftershocks, with a magnitude of 3.3. Meanwhile, Indian PM Narendra Modi had expressed his condolences as he said that he is ‘deeply saddened’ by the loss of lives. India also released an emergency contact number for Indians who require urgent assistance. Efforts are underway to provide medical assistance to those injured in the earthquake. The earthquake`s impact has not been confined to Nepal alone, tremors were felt in several districts of North India, including Delhi-NCR, UP, and Bihar.
