Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has called off his meeting with Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit, scheduled for July 29, in view of yesterday's terror attack at Dina Nagar in the border district of Gurdaspur.

Last rites of Indian prisoner Kirpal Singh, who died under mysterious circumstances in a Pakistani jail, were held in his home town in Gurdaspur on Wednesday. Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur, who was also present there, alleged that whatever doubts they had turned out to be true.
