Interim bail has been granted to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal by Supreme Court. CM Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi excise policy case. The Apex Court referred his petition challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate to a larger bench. Supreme Court observed that ‘elected leader’ Arvind Kejriwal has suffered incarceration of 90 days. However, Delhi’s Chief Minister Kejriwal will remain in the CBI custody in the excise policy matter.

Indian farm worker, Satnam Singh’s shocking death in Italy’s Latina last week sent shockwaves in India. The accident resulted in the severing of his arm, which happened while he was working at the farm. As per Flai CGIL trade union, instead of receiving help from an employer, "Singh was dumped like a bag of rubbish near his home", Meanwhile, Indian authorities raised concern over the death of the farmer and called for prompt action against responsible.
