OpenAI has launched GPT-4o which is a new fancy version of the chat gpt model. This upgrade is all about making ChatGPT even better at understanding and generating text, pictures, and sounds. According to Mira Murati, OpenAI`s chief technology officer, GPT-4o is faster and smarter than the older versions. The new model GPT-4o -- the "O" stands for omni -- will be rolled out in OpenAI`s products over the next few weeks, the company said, with paid customers having unlimited access to the tool. Murati highlights that the new chatbot is twice as fast, 50 percent cheaper, and has five times higher rate limits compared to the GPT-4 Turbo model. GPT-4o also offers significant improvements in the latency of responses and can generate real-time responses even in speech mode.
