Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently inaugurated 6,778 development projects worth Rs 1,231 crores in Ambedkar Nagar and gave sports kits to local youth. During his speech, CM Yogi criticized the Samajwadi Party, alleging that the party allowed criminal groups to run parallel governments in several districts. He claimed that under the previous government, the voice of ordinary citizens was silenced and accused them of caring only about holding onto power. Days after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s “mafia ko mitti mei mila denge” warning, Prayagraj murder accused was shot dead. UP Police killed one of the accused involved in the murder case which triggered a political showdown in the state. Arbaz, person, who was allegedly driving the vehicle involving in Prayagraj case, died during treatment at the hospital after engaging in a gun battle with the UP Police.
