Arvind Kejriwal arrest: Delhi CM sent to judicial custody till April 15
It seems there still no relief for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The Delhi CM was produced before Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on April 01. He was produced before the court as his probe agency custody ended today. Tight Security was arranged outside Rouse Avenue Court. While Kejriwal was being brought to Rouse Avenue Court, he said, “What the PM is doing is not good for the country.”Kejriwal was arrested in Delhi liquor policy case on March 21 and has been running his government from the ED lock-up since then. Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: Court sends Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to ED custody
The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM Kejriwal on March 23 in connection with the alleged Delhi Liquor scam case. The Rouse Avenue Court on March 22 sent Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to ED custody till March 28. The agency had sought 10 days of remand. The AAP Chief was produced before the court of Special Judge Kaveri Baweja. Senior Advocates Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Vikram Chaudhari, and Ramesh Gupta along with Advocates Rajat Bharadwaj, Mudit Jain and Mohd Irshad appeared for the Delhi CM Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal Arrest was executed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the excise policy case on Thursday after the Delhi High Court refused interim protection to him from coercive action in connection with the excise policy case. The case pertains to alleged irregularities and money laundering in framing and implementing the Delhi Excise Policy 2022, which was later scrapped.
