A three-time felon attacked a judge inside a courtroom in Nevada, United States, in a disturbing occurrence. Deobra Redden appeared before Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus for sentencing on a charge of attempted violence with serious bodily harm. Redden became furious throughout the hearing and jumped over the bench, attacking Holthus. According to accounts, Judge Mary Kay Holthus suffered minor head injuries but was unharmed. A marshal was also hurt and sent to the hospital.

During his remand hearing on Wednesday, November 4, senior journalist and Editor-In-Chief of Republic TV, Arnab Goswami, reportedly had to be told by Chief Judicial Magistrate Sunayana S Pingale to behave properly and stand like an accused, while he raised his hands repeatedly to show injury marks. A senior lawyer at another instance reportedly reminded Arnab that he was in a courtroom, not in his studio.
