The 18th Lok Sabha commenced its session today, marking a significant moment as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his NDA colleagues were sworn in as Members of Parliament at the newly inaugurated Parliament building. Opposition leaders staged a vocal protest against the BJP-led NDA government outside Parliament, highlighting their dissent. During PM Modi`s oath-taking, members of the INDIA bloc, including Rahul Gandhi, displayed copies of the Constitution, symbolizing their stance. Despite differences, after completing his historic third-term oath, PM Modi received greetings from Opposition members, notably Rahul Gandhi, who respectfully acknowledged him. The session runs from June 24 to July 3.
