Pakistan`s former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has once again lauded India during an address in Islamabad. Nawaz Sharif was addressing the Pakistan Muslim League_ Nawaz (PML-N) cadre in Islamabad on Dec 20. While praising India, Nawaz Sharif said that the countries around us have reached the moon. Pointing out the dire economic situation, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan has still `not risen` from earth. Pakistan Muslim League_ Nawaz (PML-N) supremo asserted that Pakistan is responsible for its downfall. India became the fourth country to land on the moon’s surface and the first on the South Pole. The ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 successfully touched down on the south pole of the lunar surface on Aug 23.

The Vikram lander and Pragyan rover of Chandrayaan-3 are expected to reactivate on September 23. The lander and rover are currently in “sleep mode” near Moon’s South Pole after having completed their set tasks. SAC Director Nilesh Desai briefed about the further developments in the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Also, the former Director of SAC said that the revival of Pragyan Rover will be a miracle for ISRO.
