The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) made a significant seizure on July 9, 2024, near the India-China border in Eastern Ladakh, confiscating 108 gold bars weighing 108.060 kg and apprehending two individuals. The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested four Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists from the Ahmedabad airport on May 20. According to Gujarat Police, all four accused Mohammad Nusrat, Mohammad Nufran, Mohammad Faris and Mohammad Razdin are Sri Lankan nationals and were active members of the banned terror outfit, ISIS. Briefing about the arrest made, Gujarat DGP Vikash Sahay said as per the information received they were coming to India to commit a terror attack.
