On August 10, two soldiers lost their lives in an intense exchange of gunfire with terrorists in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. The clash erupted during a joint operation involving the Indian Army, J&K Police, and CRPF in Kokernag at an altitude of 10,000 feet. Despite the challenging terrain, security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt to apprehend terrorists hiding in dense forests. Earlier the same day, police released sketches of four terrorists, who were last seen in Malhar, Bani, and Seojdhar, offering a 5 lakh bounty for information leading to their capture. On August 11, search operations intensified in Kishtwar following a firefight between terrorists and security forces. The recent months have seen a troubling increase in Jammu and Kashmir terror attacks, resulting in the deaths of over 10 soldiers and numerous civilians, escalating the need for heightened security measures.

A couple from Jaipur, Tabrez and Farha who along with their two children had gone to visit Jammu & Kashmir were injured in a firing by terrorists at Pahalgam in Anantnag district of Jammu & Kashmir. Farha, the woman who suffered the injury came forward and shared her scary encounter with the terrorists. "My husband and I went to Kashmir on 13th May. On 18th May, when we reached our hotel, we were shot at by terrorists. While I was trying to protect my son from fire, I got injured. My relatives picked us up and took us to the hospital. Rajasthan CM from here helped us a lot. My husband`s eyes have got damaged and he cannot see now. I underwent shoulder surgery. I request the PM to help us with eye donation." Watch video.
