India on November 29 formed a high-level inquiry committee to address the security concerns highlighted by the US government. US Secretary of State also welcomed the probe panel set up by India and said “It’s good and appropriate”. India remained a strategic partner but US take alleged assassination plot ‘very seriously’, said White House spokesperson John Kirby. US Department of Justice on November 30 unsealed an indictment against an Indian national. US’ indictment was unsealed alleging murder-for-hire charges against Indian national Nikhil Gupta. 

After completing 20 years of direction in the entertainment industry, Filmmaker Nikkhil Advani gave credits for his achievements to directors Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra for giving him bigger opportunities in Bollywood. Nikkhil Advani said, “I always feel that somewhere someone was looking out for me and I got the right breaks and the right opportunities. Of course, my breaks with Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra allowed me to have a so-called footing in the industry where all the actors felt that this person has some ability. I`m celebrating these 20 years as a director, 10 years before that I was an associate director. Actually speaking, I`m celebrating 30 years in the industry.”
