Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati on Thursday squarely blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress besides other political outfits for perpetrating large-scale atrocities on Dalits across the country.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has done nothing for Dalits in Uttar Pradesh and added that the latter is of the view that their plight would drastically change for the better if the Congress Party joins hands with them.
